About the IAEE

The IAEE advances the knowledge, understanding and application of economics across all aspects of energy and foster communication amongst professional energy analysts. www.iaee.org

Official name: International Association for Energy Economics
Establishment: 1977

Purpose

A non-profit organization whose members are researchers, governments and businesses related to energy. It serves as a forum for fostering discussions on energy and economics through academic societies and specialized journals.

Conferences

Annual international conference, North America, European, Asian, Eurasian, Latin American etc. It provides a forum for the world's energy stakeholders to share research results and to exchange expert discussions.

Membership

About 4,350 members over 100 countries - 29 branches. The largest chapters are in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, England, and Nigeria. The Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ) has been acting as an organization member as well as Japan’s branch office since its establishment. The Japanese chapter is comprised of over 110 members.

IAEE holds international conferences and publishes specialized journals to create a forum for discussions on energy and economics
